I called yesterday to suspend my home service and they said it would cost me $17 a month (essentially just holding my same #) plus $10 to reactivate it. I talked to someone else and they said it costs them nothing to do the same thing also on Verizon! Why?

Technology such as Broadband Internet covered in this article are rapidly changing our world in many ways and becoming more affordable for the average person.
